Dear Yanya,
The sun shone on the first ever DART Fun Run, and riders from across the state ventured into the unknown. What's DART, what's a Fun Run and what's with the game boards set up around the Quaker Steak and Lube parking lot? Motorcycle riders are an adventurous lot. Not knowing the answer to any of these questions they arrived in droves. In the end they learned about DART, they visited animal shelters in the bay area, played the carnival-style games, and had FUN while supporting Bay Area DART. Some won prizes and some won cash but the big winners on Sunday were the animals.

Bay Area DART is your Disaster Animal Response Team. The hurricane season is upon us and DART works with the Pinellas County Emergency Operations Center. When a disaster strikes, DART members move quickly to assess the damage and evaluate the impact on animals, and then provide the most appropriate support to the community.

Want to again thank you for the great sound system. Every band commented on how great the sound was Jay and Drew were outstanding and I noticed several times that the 'communication' between them and the bands during the act was super and adjustments were being made on the fly at the bands requests with the nod of a head. We even had numerous comments from event goers and how great the sound was.

The Friday band, Charley 0, told me right after the initial set up that the sound blew them away, Charley said he could 'feel the bass' right through the stage. They wound up playing significantly longer than we had contracted for since they didn't seem to leave the stage. Super stuff and definitely raised the bar in terms of the quality of product. Just wanted to let you know your work was both noticed and appreciated. Thanks!!!
